We finally updated our website!
It’s been quite a while. We’ve published a number of books since updating. Lots of board books. Lots of picture books. And we added three new coloring and activity books to our list.
This year, 2016, we are releasing more titles than we have in a few years. We’re especially proud of our new series of board books, Hawaiian Legends for Little Ones, that introduces the toddler set to some of Hawai’i’s most well-known legends featuring Maui the demigod, Pele the goddess of volcanoes, Hina the goddess of the moon, and the legend of Naupaka.
In addition to these four new board books are: a potty-training book that’s perfect for reading in the bathroom while sitting on the potty—All Pau with Diapers; a book that celebrates baby’s first milestones—Baby’s Book of Firsts in Hawai’i; a book that teaches young kids how to count from one to ten in nine languages most often heard on playgrounds and in markets across the islands—One to Ten in Hawai’i; and a book that teaches the days of the week and the joy of sharing—Sand Mouse’s Soup.
And last, but not least, is a new picture book by Constance Hale and illustrated by Kathleen Peterson titled ‘Iwalani’s Tree. It is a poetic reflection on the passage of time, nature, and life. Visit the author's website for more information.
If you are unfamiliar with BeachHouse, we are a regional publisher of children’s books located on the island of O’ahu in Hawai’i. We publish board books, picture books, coloring books, and have one chapter book under our belt. Next year we have plans to publish new book-plus products that offer Hawai’i’s kids, and kids all over, new fun ways to learn more about our islands.

We also sometimes post stuff on Facebook and before the holiday season, if you join the BeachHouse Book Club, you’ll be notified of upcoming sales for those of you on O’ahu.
