		You're invited!    All of our events are open to the public. We often have book signings where you can come meet the author and/or illustrator, talk-story and have your book signed. We sometimes throw BIG launch parties as well. Come share in the food and refreshments as we celebrate the release of a brand new Hawaiiana children's book.

		Saturday Oct 7   noon to 1 pm Sue Cowing reads from her book My Dog Has Flies at Native Books Na Mea Hawaii to celebrate Children's Literature in Hawai'i, and invites kids of all ages to a poetry workshop afterwards where kids can write their own poems and create their own books.     Saturday Oct 21   11 am Leonard Villanueva reads and signs his new book The Hungry Pua'a and the Sweet Sweet Potato at Barnes & Noble Ala Moana Mall.

		Saturday Nov 11   noon to 1 pm Don Robinson signs his new book G is for Gecko at Barnes & Noble Kahala Mall.     Thursday Nov 16   6 to 8 pm LAUNCH PARTY! Come join us to celebrate the release of Edna Cabcabin Moran's new book The Sleeping Giant at Native Books Na Mea Hawaii at Ward Warehouse. Food, drinks, and give-aways!
