Children love going to the beach and collecting shells, coral, and whatever else they can find
in the sand. This is a counting book where the child can pretend she's at the beach, collecting
different items in her beach bucket.
Fun, cartoony illustrations show all the treasures collected inside the bucket as they are
lovingly gathered. At the end, the bucket is emptied so the contents can be found another day.

About the Illustrator |
|
| |
Dennis Fujitake was born and raised in Honolulu-a product of the Hawai'i public school system
and the University of Hawai'i. A freelance illustrator who created the "Gecko Sushi" designs for
Crazy Shirts, Fujitake continues to create comic book, newspaper, greeting card, and
magazine illustrations. He enjoys watching martial arts movies and Korean dramas on
television, playing basketball and sampling new gecko recipes. Four years ago, he shed his
dinosaur status when he bought his first Macintosh computer. His other children's book,
The Bravest 'Opihi: How Two of Hawai'i's Smallest Sea Creatures Saved the Day, is a beautiful
picture book for children ages 7 and up. |
